Please Hammer, Don’t Hurt ‘Em

The end really seals the deal. Watch it all the way through.

“I was having a quiet pint with the wife, see… and this chap comes in like a garitic.”

If you know what garitic means, then give us a clue.

“It was the freshest move I’ve ever seen, its like he was floating on air.”

Just got refreshed.

“I don’t know what came over us, we just got up and danced with him.”

Why not give it go.

“I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”

But we’re sure you’ll be seeing more of it soon.

In case you’re wondering, this is the 2008 version of Utah Saints classic Something Good. Also known as the ‘Something Good 08’ (Van She Tech Remix).

99 Words For Boobs. Sing it!

Feb 6, 2008 Author: Bookie | Filed under: Almost Famous, Music, Video

Jugs and orbs and darts and gords… sweater stretchers, lung protectors, beach umbrellas, frost detectors. Well you get the idea. These are just a few of the lyrics from the mind of Robert Lund. Inquiring minds want to know what possessed Robert to associate boobs with Nena’s 99 Red Balloons‘ or if you prefer ‘99 Luft Balloons‘. Apparently they are playing this on the radio in some places. This is a new video for the song. Another video is floating around, but it’s not nearly as well done.

MySpace vs Facebook For Music

Jan 22, 2008 Author: Bookie | Filed under: Facebook, Music, MySpace

Although Facebook has been the media darling for the past year for social networks, it is still dwarfed by its much bigger rival, MySpace. One of the reasons that MySpace reigns supreme is that it has focused on music as well as connecting with people virtually. If you hear a song in a television commercial these days and then do an internet search, you will more than likely find the musician with a MySpace page. Even if the musician does have a Facebook page, it doesn’t have the music influence that MySpace does.

Anyone who watches TV will be familiar with two commercials because of the music, and after searching you’ll find that these artists have MySpace pages and you’ll be able to hear the songs entirely that have been stuck in your head. The first commercial is for the Ford Edge where a girl is sitting in the back seat staring up out of the skyview window and her friends call her on the phone to ask if she wants someting, and you’ll hear part of a song called “The Funeral” by Band of Horses. The other commercial that has been playing a little longer is for the iPod Nano with people dancing in a carefully choreographed scene on different colored iPods, and is playing the video for the song “1234″ by Feist, whom you’ll also find on MySpace by doing a quick internet search. If music is a priority in your life, then you probably use MySpace for finding and listening to music even if you prefer Facebook for connecting with your friends.
